StoreShield, Inc. ("StoreShield," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at trystoreshield.com and the StoreShield platform (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you interact with our Services. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out a contact form, book a Risk Review, or correspond with us by email, we collect the name, email address, company name, job title, and any other information you choose to share.

Usage and analytics data. We use Google Analytics and Mixpanel to understand how visitors interact with our website. These tools collect data such as pages visited, time on page, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location (city/country level). This data is aggregated and not linked to personal identities.

Customer data processed on behalf of clients. When you engage StoreShield as a platform customer, we may process customer-facing data (reviews, complaint records, transaction signals) on your behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. That data is yours — we act as a processor, not a controller, for it.

Cookies and tracking technologies. We use essential cookies for site functionality, analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel), and calendar-booking cookies (Cal.com). See Section 8 for more detail.

We retain contact and inquiry data for as long as necessary to manage our business relationship with you and comply with legal obligations — typically no longer than 3 years after the last meaningful interaction. Analytics data is retained per the default retention windows of Google Analytics (14 months) and Mixpanel (12 months for event data).

Platform customer data is retained according to the terms of your service agreement and applicable law, and deleted upon termination of the agreement per our data deletion procedures.
